maybe I'm nuts but...,
This review is from: Chlor-Trimeton Allergy Relief, 4 Hour Tablets 24 ea (Misc.)
I understand the confusion on the customer comment but Chlor-Trimeton sells both 4hr and 24 hr relief tablets, pretty easy to distinguish on the boxes on the shelf for sale, if one is paying attention. I am only sorry that the 4hr relief medication is getting very hard to find. I find the 4-hr makes me less drowsy yet works more effectively on my symptoms... perhaps only my imagination but, who cares if it gives the most needed relief (cripplingly itchy nose and/or eyes). I also have tried everything else, to no avail, so am delighted this first generation chlorpheniramine maleate product is still available. I find the side-effect of drowsiness to be minimal/manageable with the 4hr product and at least imagine the efficacy of the 4hr product to be superior to the 12hr product... go figure!

I can't understand why the drug stores stopped selling the 4 Hr. because it is perfect as a sleep aid and you don't feel the drowsiness the next day like you have with the 12 Hr.

Looking for a Sudafed Cold & Allergy substitute, not the best...,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chlor-Trimeton Allergy Relief, 4 Hour Tablets 24 ea (Misc.)
I have used Sudafed Cold & Allergy (white & green box), that had the allergy medication and the decongestant medication combined in 1 white pill, for almost 20 years now (as needed, of course). It always worked PERFECT for my seasonal allergies. Then Sudafed changed the ingredients of the decongestant part of it, which was no big deal since I was using it for allergies (sneezing, runny nose, etc.). THEN Sudafed completely stopped making this product - now it's a big deal! (I'm a person that does not like the newest over-the-counter allergy meds, they just don't work on me, like Claritin, Zyrtec, etc.) So I had to research online the active ingredients (in Sudafed C&A) & then bought other products that had atleast the anti-histimine ingredient in it. This was one of them... turns out that I liked the products with the combo anti-histimine & decongestant better (like Allerest PE Allergy & Sinus Relief, which I also bought). Bottom line - Sudafed Cold & Allergy was THE BEST, (& if you can find it anywhere - buy it!), but if not then this works "ok", but I would recommend the Allerest PE Allergy & Sinus over this product.
