New Fan,
By A Customer
This review is from: Chlorophyll (Audio CD)
I had the ultimate pleasure of seeing Chlorophyll live. They were awesome, and made a new fan out of me. Equally impressive was the band that followed them "The Joe Whyte Band". I highly recommend the CD's of both bands. You will not be disappointed.

Chlorophyll Can't Go Unoticed,
By C. Willms (Saint Paul, MN United States) - See all my reviews

I found these guys years ago on the now defunct mp3.com site (when it used to be the coolest music site on the web) and immediately loved them. The vocals, musicianship and song writing is fabulous. In fact my favorite song "Loser" does not even appear on this disk and that's a shame. Speaking of the vocals - rarely does one have such command of his falsetto like this guy does. He moves in and out of falsetto with ease and being a singer myself I know this is no small feat. "Transmission" and "Sunny Day Suicide" are particularly strong, but none of these songs can be considered filler material. If someone in the big time music industry is reading this please seek these guys out and sign them...Chlorophyll deserves to be heard.

Another Under-rated Band,

This Cd is a must for those looking for the talent that doesn't get to reach the radio waves. For any fans, such as I am one of the biggest, of the late Jeff Buckley, you may want to purchase this CD. A singer/songwriter such as Jeff Buckley comes along once in a lifetime and when they're gone, they leave an unimaginable impact on the music world. Pat Jamieson's voice seems to be following in Jeff Buckley's footsteps. Just listen to the first track and you'll hear it. This is a great, musically solid CD led by a captivating voice.

A Debut CD Which Boasts a Number of Should-be Hits,

This is simply an incredible debut effort. Jamieson's vocal style is haunting. Remember hearing Bono for the first time? Solid writing. Solid musicianship. Innovative, colorful guitar work. Tasteful drumming. What are you waiting for? Buy the disc!

I had the pleasure to see CHLOROPHYLL live a few times. Their shows were great, I of course bought a CD at one of the shows. I can't tell you how glad I am I did. It's so melocic. I love Pat Jamieson's voice, it sends shivers up my spine. The lyrics are inspiring and always make me take a different perspective on how I see things. This is really just a special band.
