5.0 out of 5 stars best knee brace I have ever used
After a lifetime of problems with patella tracking (and the inflammation that poor tracking can cause) in each of my knees. I had given up hopes of regular incorporation of treadmill work in my exercise routine. This product made it possible to use the treadmill again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says... but caution
You need to understand lots of things beyond the advertisement here or notes that come with this product before you put it on and you go about your business.

4.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive and Pretty Good, August 9, 2010
This review is from: Cho-Pat Patellar Stabilizer (Misc.)
I have patella tracking issues when I run. Although my knee does not feel quite as good during a run as when a Physical Therapist taped it, it does work. Without anything I cannot run more than a mile or so before it starts becoming very painful. I just did a triathlon Sunday and wore the brace for the 5k run portion. It hurt a little when during a downhill portion of the trail towards the end, but nothing compared to when I ran without anything on my knee. The only other problem is that to get it tight enough to feel like it was working/not fall down while running I had to pull the straps pretty tight to the point that it felt like my motion was impeded a little. In summation, I think a proper knee cap/knee tape job works and feels better, but this is a much faster and easier alternative, especially for situations where taping is not very realistic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Knee Brace for Walkers, March 8, 2009

I have arthritis in my knee and a torn menicus so I bought this knee brace for help exercising without pain and stress to my knee. It works great when you're walking. The knee cap stays right in the track and you can walk fast without pain either during the walk or afterward. It will also be great for days when you need to do alot of shopping. It firmly stablizes the knee but that doesn't feel so comfortable if I'm doing other aerobic exercises where I'm bending and moving in various directions. I'm conscious of the brace the whole time and afterward I find that my knee is stiff and I have some pain in it. I think the knee needs to be able to move a little more when I'm doing those things. I'm not sure there's a brace that can work for that. I'm glad I bought the Cho-Pat Patellar Stablizer because I'll be able to get more exercise in this summer by adding some brisk walks to my other exercise routines.

I have really bad knees, and before getting the CHO-Pat patellar stabilizer, I used a regualar ten dollar one you get at target or something, and I ran on my treadmill, and for the next 3 weeks, I couldnt walk on my right leg. My right knee was so inflamed and swollen. My left knee was hurting a little bit but I could still put weight on it.

Then after my right knee healed, I got this CHO-pat stabilizer for the my right knee and ran for two days, and it didnt hurt anymore. But guess what, the second day I ran, my left knee started hurting cause I didnt get one for my left knee. I should have got one for my left knee too (but didnt cause its so expensive for just one strap.) So anyway, I just ordered one for my left knee five minutes ago. I am so overweight (35lbs) and either I use these straps or get an elliptical which I dont really like. I feel much more free on the treadmill, and if i can, running outside on the track....and I havenet been able to because of my knees.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says... but caution, October 4, 2011

You need to understand lots of things beyond the advertisement here or notes that come with this product before you put it on and you go about your business.

Be aware that your patella is connected to your patellar tendon and that tendon connects to your quadriceps muscle. If you tack down your patella (which this brace will most certainly do), you will influence things all the way up into your hip & groin.

Caveat emptor - do your research. This is a short term fix for most people that it might benefit.

4.0 out of 5 stars cho-pat patellar stablizer, May 22, 2011

Works great but on me the top strap doesn't line up correctly so that part of my leg gets sore, but I was between small and medium and should have gone with the large. Only complaint is it doesn't work with hospital slippers and the tile floors.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome product!, April 25, 2008
Awesome product. These knee braces have helped reduce my knee pain while running. I have tried 2 other brands. But, nothing has worked like this one.

2.0 out of 5 stars BUYER BEWARE, May 24, 2010
This review is from: Cho-Pat Patellar Stabilizer (Misc.)
I have previously purchased a knee brace for my husband from this seller which worked out Fantastic and I was very pleased. I just recently decided to purchase 2 different ones for my 88 year old mother, which arrived 5 days ago, unfortunately due to arthritis in her hands she is unable to fasten them and now have to return them. Upon reading the return policy they post under returns, it states they are not returnable. I wonder why they don't post this on the page where you order from. Be assured I will very thoroughtly check out a vendors return policy in the future. I only opened one and have all the original packing so I will wait to see and if anything changes I will update this review,Maryann
