5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this now now now!, October 18, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Chobits, Volume 3 (Paperback)
Yatta for Chobits! I picked up a copy of this at Barnes and Noble, and had no idea whatsoever what was going on! So I hurried up and got the first book, and in no time I was completely hooked! It has spiffy and detailed character design, awesome plot, and Chi is so sickeningly CUTE!!!!! Some people think it's gross because of all the fanservice, but it's meant to be funny, not porno >:P I'm a girl, and I like it! Overall, it's one of my favorite mangas and should be an installment in anyone's collection of mangas and...stuff. ^_^;;

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Manga For Guys... And Girls!!!, April 6, 2003

Gothic Geisha (California, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Chobits, Volume 3 (Paperback)
"Chobits" is deffinatly the best manga book I've read since "Paradise Kiss". The art is great, the story creative, the characters vivid...and Chii's the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life! Even though (I think) "Chobits" is meant for a male audience, I'm a girl, and I still loved it. It's really cute! Even though there is some nudity and sexuality, and some language, it's well worth it.BR>-Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious Continuation, October 31, 2002
This review is from: Chobits, Volume 3 (Paperback)
This is a great continuation of the serise. Its just like the last 2, but with a great plot twist in there (sorry, no spoling it). I really sugest getting a hold of it as soon as you can, if you like CLAPM's work, of course you like Chobits (if you haven't read these yet).

5.0 out of 5 stars Addictive little sucker, isn't it?, August 12, 2003
This review is from: Chobits, Volume 3 (Paperback)
The end of this book has a surprise thatyou don't want to miss.
The basics of the book is... Chi gets her first job. the problem: it's at a shady online love fest called "Live Peep". The tangled web of Chobits and their origins continue to be woven even faster as Hideki and Chi begin to uncover her hidden programming.

A MUST READ/ MUST OWN!

5.0 out of 5 stars The continuing adventures of Hideki and his persocom, Chi, November 28, 2010
This review is from: Chobits, Volume 3 (Paperback)
My daughter checked this manga volume out from the library. Since it was around the house and I had an interest in continuing the series, I read it after my daughter finished with it.

In this volume, Chi gets a job at a bakery that Hideki once worked at. Chi also believes that Hideki is "the one for her," but she's not sure if Hideki feels the same way. We also learn a secret about Shimbo and the cram school teacher, Ms. Shimizu. In the process, Shimbo transfers ownership of his laptop persocom, Plum, to Hideki. And we also meet a couple of new characters, and it turns out that they're after Chi. At the end of the volume, Hideki gets a picture emailed to him that was sent to his friend, Minoru... and it contains a potential link between Chi and someone Hideki knows.

Art-wise, there really isn't much in the way of blatant nudity in this volume. However, there are some panty shots and some suggestive poses. Story-wise, there are some new twists and turns introduced, but they help to enhance the story and to keep the reader interested and wanting to read more. I would recommend this volume of Chobits to anyone who has read and appreciated the previous two volumes.

I wrote this review after reading a copy of this manga volume that my daughter checked out through the King County Library System.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chobits by the CLAMP, November 30, 2008

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chobits, Volume 3 (Paperback)
This is some very funny and entertaining stuff. The art is superior (what do you expect it's Clamp) and beautiful. The story line is cute but certainly aimed for an older audience. In the story you learn that this actually takes place after Angelic Layer, more like the adult version of it. I do recommend this to any who enjoy crazy/comedy/romance. I think that this is classified as a shoujo, but I would say that guys should find this very entertaining.

5.0 out of 5 stars Engaging Series!, November 23, 2008
This review is from: Chobits, Volume 3 (Paperback)
This series hits on some funny and serious points about men and women. This is an adolescent male's dream. The opportunity to mold a woman completely by himself. Yet another side is that she is molding him too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just more CHOBITS!, April 20, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Chobits, Volume 3 (Paperback)
If you're into anything CLAMP, or Sci-Fi, then I strongly recommend this book! But, read the first 2 book before this one, okay?

If you watched "Carrie" (The movie) when you were little, then you could totally buy this! Even if your 10 (I'm almost 11, BTW)

4.0 out of 5 stars Plum, Hideki, and Chii, November 7, 2002
By
This review is from: Chobits, Volume 3 (Paperback)
When I first saw plum, I thought she was adorable. Now that she's Hideki's I'm very happy to see her more often! But other then Plum, the thrid volume of Chobits is great. Rather mature, but those of you who have read the first two should know this, but a wonderful series. CLAMP becomes cryptic again towards the end of this volume, but it's to be expected. My only complaint is the crypticness, but the mysteries to be solved because of it are sure to be great!
