When I started looking for a diaper bag, I did my homework. I read review after review, went to the store, tried the bags out. After lots of research, I decided I HAD to have the "Love" duffle tote. It was a little more expensive than I had in mind, but hey, look at the thing...it is GORGEOUS!

I bought the bag a few months before my baby was born and before she was born every now and then I'd pull it out and admire my "perfect bag."

Now that I'm using it on a regular basis, I call it my "Like" duffle tote. It's still beautiful and I get compliments on it EVERYWHERE I go, but it lacks a little in functionality.

For context, I'll say that one of the things that drew me to this bag was all the little compartments and the fact that I could carry ONE bag and carry my essentials (wallet, keys, cell phone and lip gloss) and the baby's essentials in one bag. That said, I carry it every time I leave the house. So I write this review as someone who has actually used the bag in everyday life.

First of all, it is HEAVY. Now, I had seen other reviewers say it was heavy. When I tried it out in the store it didn't seem that bad but as I carry it around, it DEFINITELY is a heavy bag.

Secondly, when I fill the little compartments, there is not much room for other things a baby needs (like a blanket and a spare change of clothes). When I add these things to the mix the bag gets "fat" which makes it even more cumbersome to carry.

Thirdly, the handles are just too short. Not only do they not fit on a stroller, but if I'm wearing a big coat (which I wasn't when I bought the bag in August), it's hard to get it over my shoulder (and I'm not a large person).

Because I paid so much for this bag, I will continue to carry it for a while, but for those who haven't made the purchase yet, I'd recommend looking for a bag that's just as cute, but a little more functional.

I just bought this bag and I adore it! I hated my old diaper bag because I had to unpack the whole thing to get at a toy or spoon or cup. As soon as I saw this bag I knew it was the one. It looks fabulous, has pockets and compartments like crazy (with labels - cute!) and is comfortable to carry. The diaper pocket looked small but I was surprised at how far out it expands. I also love that the front section is for mom - I can consolidate our stuff into a single bag instead of having to carry my purse as well.

I just bought this bag a couple of days ago. I have a Two yer old and a new born on the way so I needed space and lots of it. I love how the pockets have the words on the outside where everything goes. Its Stylish and even when I dont have my babies with me I dont mind carrying this around. There is plenty of extra room after putting in everything. I recommend this bag to anyone who has one or more kids and doesnt want to take along an extra purse just for your things.

My son just turned one, and yes, I am now only experiencing the great joy of "the perfect bag"! I had been using the black bag the hospital gave us when leaving the hospital. It served its purpose, but I definitely felt the need to get a new, more spacious (and of course, stylish) bag. I searched high and low, only to find those falling into the boring or overpriced category. Then one day when picking up a few things at Babies R Us, I happened upon this bag and stopped dead in my tracks. I LOVED it!! But, admittedly, when seeing the price, I waivered on it. Should I or shouldn't I? I must have held it for 15 minutes... and with a shrug of my shoulders, put it back. "I'll think about it", I said. Months passed and after even more unsuccessful searches, I decided, "that's it, I'm buying it!". Very excited, with credit card in hand, I jumped online only to find that this bag was SOLD OUT everywhere and that there was a waiting list the size of I don't even know what. I couldn't believe it! Again, I would have to wait...

My sister was shopping at Babies R Us the other day, saw it, called me, and within minutes I was there, in line and out the door... with my beautiful new bag! It's been about 2 weeks that I have been using it and I AM IN LOVE!!!

Do not hesitate! The price my seem high at first, but really, it's a beautifuly, incredibly function, high quality bag. It holds all the necessities - for the both of us. I am no longer juggling multiple bags - a diaper bag for him and a purse for myself. Initially I was concerned that there was not a shoulder strap option, but it's not an issue. It fits so comfortably over my shoulder and nestles right under my arm... it doesn't slide - at all! And, most of all, this bag is all glam... it's gorgeous, feminine... a real looker! You've got to get it :)

One final word if you're on the fence. If you hate heavy bags, this is probably not the one for you. When filled to capacity, it does get a bit heavy, BUT (yes, there is a but) it's nothing you can't handle. I still give this bag 5-Stars... it's amazing!!!!

I just purchased a Koala Baby black/ metallic bag after considering this and other more expensive, trendy diaper bags. The VanZeeland bags apparantly are poorly constructed- or unpredictable in quality, according to the reviews. I expect a pricey bag to be of good quality at least. As a mom on a budget, the Chocolate Brown "love" tote was very attractive and has plently of functional pockets in the interior, but as with the other "Wendy B." bags, it seemed way too expensive to justify.

Additionally, a common issue was that this bag lacked function as a result of the short handles. If a bag is not convienient or tears right away it doesn't matter how fashionable it is or how cute or how may interior pockets it has.

I want the right mix between affordability and fashion.

In general, I was looking for a unique diaperbag at an affordable price. I have heard that you get what you pay for, but you still don't always get a good bag even if you can pay the price. If you can afford this bag, then by all means purchase it. But you may find you need an additional bag with long straps for convienience when walking or using a stroller. But if you are on a budget you may want to consider other more affordable options.

I searched and searched for a diaper bag for months. I had almost given up when I found this one. It's absolutely perfect. I put it on my registry only to find that within the next week they ran out of them in the store. I wasn't sure if they were not selling them anymore but if I couldn't have this bag- I wouldn't have one at all. They restocked and when I saw it I actually teared up at the sight (no kidding). Because of it's design and color I can take it with me everywhere and it won't clash with what I'm wearing. On top of it all- I won't even need to carry a purse when I have the baby. I've been a nanny for long enough to know that juggling bags and a baby is no easy task. If the money is an issue for this bag then skimp on some of your other things like going out for a while- It's definately worth every penny.

I LOVED this bag when I saw it and I knew I had to have it. Well I have it and I rarely use it. I love the compartments...they make you feel very organized, but aside from the compartments...there isn't a lot of room to put a blanket or an change of clothing. When you do start stuffing the bag it gets bulky and heavy.

I'm giving this bag 4 stars because it really is a cute bag and it's well made...like all the Wendy Bellissimo bags. I now use this as my fall bag because of the material. I highly recommend getting some sort of backpack, like a Kecci bag, to keep yourself hands-free. You don't have to worry about balancing your baby on your hip while trying to keep your bag on your shoulder.

I registered for and received this bag prior to the birth of my first child. I thought it was awesome -- stylish and super functional with all of the labeled compartments. Everyone gushed over it at the shower, and since then I've received numerous compliments on how nice it is.

Well, it's a pretty bag, but that's about it. Like others, I have found that once you put things into the compartments, there's never room for blankets, burp cloths, etc. And let's get real here. When you are in a rush and need to run out the door, you don't have time to put things in their place (at least I don't anyway). So, I'm constantly digging around trying to find things. There are so many compartments that I feel like I lose things in the bag all the time.

And the handles. I know it's a personal preference, but if I ever buy a new bag, I will get a messenger style that goes across my body. My son likes to be carried and I can never manage him with the bag constantly slipping off my shoulder.

My advice to anyone shopping for a bag is to be realistic and purchase what will be the most practical, regardless of a bag's appearance/style.

I registered for this bag and received it as a shower gift. I love the look of this bag and have also received many compliments. I also love the many compartments, the bottle holders on the inside and outside of this bag and the small outer pockets which I use for my keys and cell phone. I agree with the reviewers about the weight of this bag and its bulkiness. Also, I agree and longer strap would be helpful to hang this bag on your stroller. But, my main reason for the low score is this: I began using this bag about 5 months ago, and about one month ago I noticed that the lining inside the bag was pulling away from the seam, now one month later, it has completely pulled away and is fraying and there are brown threads all over everything!! I am so sad because I loved this bag! For the price, this should NOT happen after 4 months of use. I was hoping to use it for another baby after this one! But now its trash. I am planning to complain to BabiesRUs, though I doubt it will do any good. Has anyone else had this happen to their bag?? I don't know if it was caused by the tension between the zipper in the middle and the magnet on the outer pocket. Consider this before you purchase.

If there is such thing for love at first sight for a diaper bag,then I have fallen hard....

I just saw this bag at BRU and couldn't believe how gorgeous this was.I have a 21 month old but we're trying for #2 and I knew I had to have this for when my hands are really full.I left the store & read about it on the website.It seems there is sometimes a wait for this, so I went back right away & bought one!

Besides being such a fabulous design and color, it is SO roomy and will hold much more than a regular diaper bag.

I have one I bought when I had my little girl and it harly fits enough and it's pretty big too. But this one is ROOMY and has a place for EVERYTHING and then some.

There won't be a need to carry a purse either when you have this.This is a little more than most diaper bags, but this a spurge I would not pass up.

This even gives my high end bags a run for there money, move over gucci & louis... there's a new bag in town!! :)
