5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Douwe Egberts
This order came practically before I finished paying for it! The coffee flavor is delicious, and the fact that it makes an 8 oz. cup rather than a 4 oz. is even better! The pods are individually sealed in foil, which keeps them fresher. Just a helpful hint, though...I wasted a couple of pods by putting it in the 'double pod' Senseo holder...it came out watery...thought...

3.0 out of 5 stars java podz
We own the Senseo coffee maker and were using the Senseo coffee pods. I was so excited to find the Javapodz flavored coffee. However, they tell you that you only need to use one pod for an 8oz cup, unlike the Senseo coffee where you use 2 pods for an 8 oz cup. After drinking the Senseo, I found the Javapods to be a bit weaker coffee flavor, especially after I add half...

The pods are individually sealed in foil, which keeps them fresher. Just a helpful hint, though...I wasted a couple of pods by putting it in the 'double pod' Senseo holder...it came out watery...thought there was something wrong with the coffee maker. Then I put it in the 'single pod' holder, and it was perfect!

3.0 out of 5 stars java podz, May 2, 2005
This review is from: 20 Chocolate Cappuccino Flavored Java Podz Individually-Wrapped Gourmet Coffee Pods (Misc.)
After drinking the Senseo, I found the Javapods to be a bit weaker coffee flavor, especially after I add half and half.

My remedy to this was to use one Senseo mild pod and one flavored javapod and make a 12 oz cup, by using the 2 cup button and then directly after without changing pods I used the 1 cup button. This works wonderfully for me as I get the stronger coffee taste with the wonderful flavor that Javapodz offers. It makes a super iced coffee as well!

The packaging is great. Each pod is foil wrapped so they stay fresh for a long time.

2.0 out of 5 stars not quite enough coffee per pod for advertised 8oz brew, December 4, 2005

the main issue with these pods would be that there's not quite enough coffe in one pod for the advertised 8oz brew of coffee. they expect you to make an 8 oz brew with their single pod as opposed to 2 Senseo pods, which end up having significantly more coffee to brew from than their only slight larger single pod. the result is very watery coffee--well, almost tasteless. to remedy this, instead of placing their single pod into the 1pod holder, place 2 pods into the 2pod holder for an 8oz brew which makes a more tolerabe coffee in terms of strength.

the next problem is taste. this is all preference but i find the taste decent at best. it's lacking in flavor and body. perhaps a bit bitter too.

lastly, the packaging is embarrasing (if not hugely questionable). the inidividual pods came in very scratched, generic packaging. meanwhile all 15 pods were packaged together in not some proper javapodz logo-ed box but...a ZIPLOC bag! (which actually would be forgiveable if the inidividual pod wrappings didn't look so worn, cheap, and almost fake.) I was hoping to try their other flavors but now I'm highly reluctant to.

The pods by Gourmet Cafe, another coffee pod stocked at amazon, I tried previously were quite good. Those are good to try if you're disappointed with these Javapodz.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally...Great Flavored Pods for my Senseo, February 1, 2005

Java Podz offers really good flavored pods for many of the single-cup coffee brewers. I have the Senseo and these pods are perfect, but I understand they work with other machines as well.

I've tried the Chocolate Cappuccino (which is my favorite), Hazelnut, Chocolate Raspberry and French Vanilla, which are all excellent. They have a bunch of other flavors on their website that I'm excited to try also.

If you like flavored coffee, I'd recommend java podz.

3.0 out of 5 stars Want Chocolate Cappuccino? Try CoolBeans pods instead, January 23, 2006
This review is from: 20 Chocolate Cappuccino Flavored Java Podz Individually-Wrapped Gourmet Coffee Pods (Misc.)
I have tried them all. The Cool Beans Pods are the best for taste and value overall. They have 10+ grams per pod, the packaging in a delight, and they have a large variety of flavors. They are less expensive than the other gourmet coffee pods, having 25 pods per box for $10! Coolbeanspods.com. And no, I am not an employee of Cool Beans. Just a coffee lover!

5.0 out of 5 stars Review From singleservecoffee.com..., February 21, 2005
This review is from: 20 Chocolate Cappuccino Flavored Java Podz Individually-Wrapped Gourmet Coffee Pods (Misc.)
"This one caught us by surprise! We don't know of any other pod maker that has this flavor and it's really good! We love the way it smells - the way it tastes - and the fact it is just plain different. Most pod people are ignoring the flavored sector to this extent - and it's nice to have a cup of really flavored coffee - meaning - a rich...flavored cup of coffee is hard to come by and this one is very good." - singleservecoffee.com
