5.0 out of 5 stars LESSONS IN LOVE, January 15, 2000
By
This review is from: Chocolate City Groovin' (Audio CD)
I had the pleasure of being introduced to Marcus and "Lessons in Love" (his 1st CD)in July of 1996 in DC. My friend Carrie was constantly telling me about this new, young, phenomenal jazz artist. Well I am proud to say that he is all that and more. It wasn't until I went to her house for a summer BBQ and was mesmerized by the smooth sounds coming from the stereo that I finally met Marcus. He's a wonderful man and truly dedicated to his music. Look for Marcus and his soul-stirring music to be listed among the greats. He is truly a star in progress. I highly recommend "Lessons in Love" if you can find it! Congratulations, Marcus.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smooth and Sensual, June 28, 2004

This brother keeps me on my toes with his melodic, hynoptic, touch. And if you think this album has you feeling oh, so good-check out the live version. It's quite a ride!
