I am 11 years old and I read a book called Chocolate Covered Ants. It is really funny.
The best part is when one of the boys explodes ants in the microwave. He goes to school and he asks his friends to try the chocolate covered ants. When they do that they got in trouble and they had to eat some more. I also thought it was funny when the ants get loose in the bed, and he comes screaming down the hallway.

Although I'm a young adult, I still enjoy kids's stories like I did when I was a kid. This book I read a few days ago. I just LOVED IT! It is funny and cute, and well written. I had an ant farm when I was 10. It was a birthday gift from my parents. It was a lot of fun! When we got the ants in the mail I didn't read the directions on how to get them in there so I just tried to dump them in but they got loose all over the kitchen! haha! Somehow I got them inside of the farm, though. I thought I could just pick them up with my hands and one bit me <ouch that hurt>. It was a lot of fun althugh I think I over fed them. We came back from a camping trip and they were all dead. Sad. Anyway this book brought back good memories and made me laugh out loud!

Chocolate Covered Ants takes place in Max's home town in U.S.A. Most of the story takes place in Max's and Adam's home and the school. Max and Adam who are brothers make a bet that people really eat chocolate covered ants.

Chocolate Covered Ants is about Max and his brother Adam and how Adam gets ants and an ant colony. Max makes a bet with Adam that people eat chocolate covered ants. Max tricks Adam into eating chocolate covered ants and almost wins the bet.

I liked this book because it is funny. My favorite part was when Mr. Milken makes Max and Max's friend eat chocolate covered ants. Another funny part is where Adam names his ants. My second favorite part is where Max eats ants from the microwave. I really liked this book I hope you will too.

This book was about two brothers that made a bet. The bet was about chocolate covered ants and how many people would eat them.

I liked the book because it was very funny. I would read another book by this author because of this book. I would recommend this book to a friend because it's interesting.

I thought Chocolate Covered Ants was a funny book because Max and Adam fight for no big reason. Adam puts ants in Max's bed when he is sleeping. Another funny part was when Larry said, "I have chocolate covered ants". The other reason the book was funny was when Max and Adam's mom finds out about the bet of who can eat the chocolate covered ants. If you like funny books than this is the right book for you.

I've never had an ant farm, but Stephen Manes writes like you have one. This story takes place somewhere in America. The main characters are Max , Adam, Mom and Larry. Max and Adam are brothers. The story is about Max and Adam making a bet with each other that they can get someone to eat chocolate covered ants.

This story goes on telling about the problems Max and Adam get into while they are both trying to win the bet.

This book made me laugh when Max made home-made ants with a chocolate bar. It was also funny when Mr. Millens told Max and Larry to eat chocolate ants in front of the whole entire class. Also, it was funny when Larry found the can of chocolate ants after the whole bet was done.

Adam gets an ant farm for his birthday. Max makes a bet with him that people eat chocolate covered ants. So Max makes his own. then he eats them, but his brother said people, not just one person. so Max tries to find other people, but no one will eat them. One night he sneaks them into Adams ice cream and Adam eats them. Then, when their mom found out she canceled the bet. So in the end Max didn't win anything.

I liked this book because it was interesting to read about Max and his little brother Adam. Adam had a birthday and his Aunt Fran gave him an ant colony. Adam's older brother Max bet him that people eat chocolate covered ants. They bet $13 and Max did not want to loose. Max got caught in school passing chocolate covered ants around and he had to eat them and so did his friend Larry. This book was really fun to read and I suggest you read it so you know the rest of the story. It was funny.

CHOCOLATE COVERED ANTS si a fairly good book if you enjoy children's books. It is very short bt a cute story. It is about a boy who has not pets and nither does his brother. Then his smaller brother gets an ant farm and thinks he knows everything about ants. Then he gets so fed up with the ants, that he says that there is such things as chocolate covered ants and that he is going to eat his brother's new ant farm!
