A great mystery book filled with action and suspense.,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Chocolate-Covered Contest (Nancy Drew Digest, Book 151) (Paperback)
In this book Nancy and her friends Bess and George, who are all girls, are chaperoning on a two day field trip. The fieid trip is at the Royal Chocolate amusement park. Bess has a candy bar wrapper qualifying her to a $1,000,000 dollar prize and a trip to the amusement park. The candy wrapper is a fake! Bess is accused of couterfitting the winning wrapper. The reason I like this book is because it is filled with action and suspense. There are terrifying tricks, cars being run off roads, people getting thrown on upside down rollercoasters without seatbelts. This is a great book and I advise you to read it.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Chocolate-Covered Contest (Nancy Drew Digest, Book 151) (Paperback)
I loved this book and couldn't put it down. It takes place at a amusement park where Bess gets a winning wrapper! When she goes to claim her prize she finds out that someone else has already won the million dollars! Well of course Nancy thinks that this is another one of the cases that she just has to solve! Nancy is on the case! This story is about a compelling mystery that involves: The Science Sleuths, who are a group of kids on a field trip at the park, Joyce Palmer, who is the attendent at to Chocolate Factory, Mr. Castle, who is the president at the factory, Mr. Tumey, who is the boss at the factory, Bess Marvin, one of Nancy's mystery solving companions, George, the other companion, Nancy Drew, the detective who is on the case, Diana Nugget, the other contest winner, Phil Nugget, Diana's husband, and finally Andrea Cassella, who is the Science Sleuths chaperon. This story takes place in the park in modern times. ... Find out what happens to Joyce when you read Nancy Drew and The Chocolate Covered Contest. I would recomend this book because it a good hard mystery and has a lot of curves and bumps, just like the roller coaster that Nancy gets stuck on!

Such a Sweet Story,
This review is from: The Chocolate-Covered Contest (Nancy Drew Digest, Book 151) (Paperback)
This modern Nancy Drew tale is a delicious treat for fans of all ages. The plot grabs hold of all your senses; sight; smell; taste; touch and leaves you wanting more! Carolyn Keene (whoever she really is) wrote this suspenseful tale about two of many people's favorite things: Amusement Parks and Chocolate! Of course, there is a nice mystery waiting to be unraveled, and Nancy and her friends bring along a group of young people for the 'ride'. If you are a fan of Nancy, grab the fudge and settle down for a melt-in-your mouth mystery!

I absolutely loved this book. The traditional Nancy Drew finds herself in the middle of yet another thrilling mystery. She wins a million dollars in a cocolate wrapper contest, only to find out that another person has also won it. As who has produced this second wrapper starts to become clearer, the risks are running higher. Whoever has done this is getting desperate and will stop at nothing to keep Nancy from revealing them. Will Nancy solve the case in time? Read the book and find out!:-D

The chocolate-covered contest talks too much about chocolate. It is an exciting book, and I liked it. But it really talks too much about chocolate!
