Eh.
I bought this at a serious discount from the Clearance racks of a discount department store. Goodness, I'm glad I didn't pay full price. This book hits all the main requirements of a good cookbook: it opens nice a flat, it has pictures of every recipe, and it even includes measurements in ounces, litres AND cups for all its ingredients. I bought this at a serious discount from the Clearance racks of a discount department store. Goodness, I'm glad I didn't pay full price. This book hits all the main requirements of a good cookbook: it opens nice a flat, it has pictures of every recipe, and it even includes measurements in ounces, litres AND cups for all its ingredients.Such a pity that the recipes are all either incredibly difficult to manage, or just don't taste good or look appetizing! Ah well. If nothing else, the essays sprinkled throughout the book (like so much chocolate-flavored jimmies) are informative and interesting. I suppose it was worth the few dollars I spent on it, but I very rarely actually make anything out of it.
