4.0 out of 5 stars Chocolate Collection February 14, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This has about 39 recipes and a hyperlinked table of contents. Unfortunately, the entire TOC is not shown in the description or the Look Inside. (Actually, there doesn't even seem to be a Look Inside on this one.)

There is no personalization, no introduction, nothing to tell me why these are the "best" recipes. (Plus a rather obvious typo of "Devine.")

However, this one gets 4 stars from me (an "I liked it") for a few reasons:
There's no claim that the recipes are "easy," "quick," or "mindblowing."
There are a relatively large number of recipes for a variety of items.
There are actually a couple of recipes I haven't seen before that I would try, which is why I go through all these cookbooks. (Sweet potatoes! In cookies! Brilliant!)
Many of the recipes are more than "cake mix and instant pudding and chocolate chips" (although there are a few of those, too). I like the fact that cheesecake recipes are included that don't call for premade crusts or cheesecake mix. There's a mousse recipe that involves cream and some actual cooking. Essentially, it looks like some care was taken in choosing the recipes to get a varied selection.

If you have a good collection of chocolate recipes already or if you're looking for something more original or unique in the way of recipes, this may not be for you. If you're interested in building up your recipe file, though, it may not be a bad choice.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice collection of chocolate Recipes February 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I love chocolate and I love to bake, so this cookbook was intriguing to me. There is a wide range of recipes to choose from, and if chocolate is your thing, you'll like the book. I felt the index was particularly helpful. While the cover art is a bit, meh, don't let that fool you. The book has a good range of recipes from Brownies to Chocolate cheescake.
