This is a delightful delicious book that combines fun with word games and facts and recipes on CHOCOLATE! The game is much like a jumble and scramble together. The facts are fun as well and the recipes are keepers. One on a simple ingredient change for better brownies! You and your kids will enjoy this kind of fun as a family project at home - be together and learning fun times. Nothing like spending time in the kitchen with mom and dad when one is (was) a kid! Go generate some beautiful and delicious memories for your children's brain, taste buds and heart! Something they will remember their whole lives! I do and did! YUMMY to my heart!

OK, I have to admit. At first, I looked at some of the answers and thought, "These aren't even words!" But I looked up a few up them in a dictionary and - guess what? They ARE! Who knew that a ser is a unit of weight in India? Talk about a vocabulary builder! It's fun to have recipes, too. Can't wait to try the Chocolate Coconut Candies!

Okay...chocolate is supposed to be good for your brain, and word games are supposed to be good for your brain. I feel so much smarter already!

I wanted to eat the screen!
I could smell the chocolate, but I guess I will settle for the delicious recipes (and/or fun facts) that accompany each puzzle
I thought I would breeze through "easy", but I had to chew on the 3rd one for a few moments.
This is fun!

What better way to spend an afternoon with your child than solving puzzles about chocolate and making delicious chocolate-based goodies? This book is a rather clever idea combining both puzzles and recipes. The puzzles start off simple enough but don't be fooled, they get rather tricky later on. Your child should easily add a significant number of new words to their vocabulary. And when the puzzles are all solved you can treat each other to a tasty homemade chocolate snack. There's just no going wrong with this book!

I really liked this one, it occupied me. It took a while for my brain to click but I found myself enjoying it, once I got the hang of the games. I noticed some recipes in there too. I can't cook but if you could cook then it would be a good bonus. I'd say this book is great if you need to kill some time. It isn't one of those small word scramble books so it will last you.

Love the word game approach thoughtfully paired with these scrumptious recipes. Nothing better than simultaneously sharpening brain function and dreaming of chocolate concoctions! There's only one problem I found with this book. Which recipe will I try first? Keep these coming, Julia Busch ... keep these coming!

Brew yourself a cup of coffee, pick a comfortable spot in your home and spend time reading this book! Who would have thought to combine chocolate and word games in one book? This is just fantastic and I love it.

The fun facts about anything chocolate (companies, candy bars, cookies, etc) are definitely worth a good read and they get you in the mood to actually try out the recipes. I'm personally going to try out the Spoon Drop Goober Raisinet Cookies which are easy to make.

Try reading it together with your family members too! The activities are not boring and not hard to do. A great way to approach this would be to do an activity together and then do a chocolate recipe together. You can't really miss with games, family, bonding and cooking together.
