About the Author
Holly Durst was born and raised in a small town in Ohio. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Communication from Walsh University. Holly then moved to Los Angeles where she discovered her love for writing childrens books. Her two favorite things are chocolate and socks. The idea for writing her first book came when Holly was given a gift of a box of chocolate and a pack of socks. The idea is priceless! While living in Los Angeles, Holly managed a high end clothing boutique in Beverly Hills for five years. It was there, where she was spotted and asked to be on ABC's hit show 'The Bachelor.' Three years after her unsuccessful quest for love on television, Holly was asked to come back for season two of 'Bachelor Pad.' This venture was a lot more successful than the last. Bachelor Pad is a competition show competing for love and money. On the show she met Blake Julian, a previous contestant on 'The Bachelorette.' They started dating after the show and by the finale, they were engaged. The engagement wasn't the only big thing to happen to Holly on the show; she won! Holly walked away with $125,000 and the love of her life! Holly currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina. Blake has a dental practice here so she happily moved across the country to be with him. Holly gives all her praise to God for His many blessings in her life.

C's Review(She is 6) Chocolate Socks is a awesome book, I want chocolate socks for real and I bet they would be so good. In the book a little girl invented chocolate socks, this book is about doing two different things and combine together to make them real. If I could combine any two things I would combine two of my favorite things which is Lollipops and my Ipod Touch. I could lick it while I listen to it.
Mom's Review- This has got to be one of the cutest children's books I have ever read, and trust me I read a ton of them! This book really has it all, a fun story line that keeps the kids entertained. A great message, one that really resonated with my girls, and the cutest little illustrations. I am not always a fan of rhyming books but in this story it is really the icing on the cake! I've now read this book at least 20 times and it is still just as cute as it was the first round!
