Annmarie Kostyk has had a love affair with food since she was a toddler. She is a huge foodie and her passion is chocolate. Through her college years, studying art history at Lake Forest College and history at Indiana University, Annmarie worked at a chocolate shop and the love of chocolate and baking anything chocolate carried through to her personal life with family and friends.
Her professional life included working as an Assistant Pastry Chef at Le Meridien Hotel (now the Conrad Chicago) in Chicago and catering for family and friends. In 2006, Annmarie Kostyk graduated with honors earning a Professional Chocolatier Certificate granted by the Professional School of Chocolate Arts Ecole Chocolate in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She has been working with and writing about chocolate ever since.
Annmarie has been collecting and consuming chocolate bars from all over the world and currently has a collection of over 250 chocolate bars which she has experienced.
