5.0 out of 5 stars Shark in da water...
Suprised and impress, another Solid round shot from Troy, da whole album is well rounded and solid from beginning to end, it brings me back to his first 2 releases "We Ready I declare War" and "I am D.S.G.B." which were both masterpieces at hand, which both collaborated together to create his national debut album "Face Off" for yall beginner's of Troy, but yeah this cd...

5.0 out of 5 stars Let's go Pop a Few Bottles!!!!, September 14, 2006
This review is from: By Choice Or By Force (Audio CD)
Alright, maybe this isn't PT best cd, but there are still some pretty addictive tracts. I like Murda Man 2 and Pop a few Bottles. "I like all that," is a pretty sweet track as well. You still can't pimp me, I'm a pimp myself!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally PT again!!, August 3, 2006
This review is from: By Choice Or By Force (Audio CD)
I was bumpin no mo play in Ga way before anybody knew bout troy in Ga. So I sought out every pt and dsgb album made. Yeah Troy always had a ill flow and tight beats he kinda left his lyrical talent back with the first couple albums we ready, and face off 1. But still Troy always stayed true and was himself never a puppet like 90 percent of any artist out there. And PT always came hard but he came back with this one with ill beats as usual and once again ill lyrical flows which he had been lackin on. But my Love for Pastor Troy never strayed I was just waitin for another album like this.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Like All That!!!, July 27, 2006
This review is from: By Choice Or By Force (Audio CD)
Pastor Troy delivers his second album of the year with By Choice or By Force. This is a completely different album from STAY TRU released earlier this year. While the other one was released independently, By Choice Or By Force is released on Koch records. On this album you can tell he has a chip on his shoulder from the very first song Murder Man Pt. 2 where he disses BME, Lil Scrappy, Lil Jon, Trillville, Eastside Boyz, Crime Mob, and Oobie...I guess for jackin his style...but it doesn't matter because the song is ridin so hard. Yes he's callin out names. The next song I Represent This, he continues his lyrical assault on BME. Every song is tight...Crossroads, Who Do I Trust, Pop A Few Bottles ft. Rasheeda (also on her album), I Like All That, Vegas (sample an Outkast song and does it justice) etc. etc. Pastor Troy once again delivers hotness...never stopping...everlasting. Just when you feel like you need a fix, Pastor Troy comes through. Hard lyrics, amazing production and an overall unique sound. Pastor Troy definitely one of the south's greatest rappers. Another classic. 5 stars.
