4.0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun December 30, 2011

Just like the "Choose Your Own Adventure" series from when I was a kid, but for grown-ups. Nothing heavy, but a decent story. Please put more out there for Kindle!

3.0 out of 5 stars It was great, but not so much anymore June 12, 2012

Before you could play any Choice of Games games for free, over and over again. Now you play it once and you have to wait 20 minutes to play it again or update to the full version. Updating doesn't make any sense because you can play it online for free with no wait. If you want to play the game to find new outcomes, you will have to wait more than 30 minutes to finally find them all. It was much easier before they asked you for your money.

I loved this game! I have played the other choice of games and loved them! You can play as a man or a women. You have many fun or tragic choices to make! I played this game three times over already! And for free?!?! You cant miss this!!!! :)

2.0 out of 5 stars Don't pay for this. July 8, 2014

It's really quite simple: the story is good enough to be worth the hour of your time it takes to play the free version, but do *NOT* purchase the "full" version. There is literally no difference whatsoever. You still have to wait to play again, you still see the ads, and the unsatisfying ending that entices you to buying the full version is, in fact, the actual ending and there is nothing after that.

I am currently seeking a refund--customer service was very quick to respond to my original inquiry but not quite as swift now that I want my money back. Hopefully, readers will learn from my mistakes and avoid any headaches that invariably ensue after purchasing the allegedly full version.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great App For the Young Adult June 5, 2012
By Amanda
I usually read books like this despite my young age, so its very enriching and proves to be quite the challenge. But this really is a fun app.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun and witty December 27, 2014

A nice entertaining text adventure as you work your way through the British navy as an officer. Different choices you make cause different outcomes but what I enjoyed most was the witty response the game gave to the choices I made. Even if you know nothing about sailing, you can play this and replay it making different choices to see how the game responds, what witty comment it makes about the choices you make. The game is free, and is not very long, but a nice diversion for an hour or so. Tip: you don't have to try to remember other characters names, or draw maps, or make notes to play.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good November 9, 2014

For a text-based game, this is pretty good. Its' not great, but its a good amount of fun. The story feels somewhat limited as-is but it definitely has potential in it. It's fun to play and there's a pretty good amount of stuff to do in it. It has some problems with crashing and I've tried it on a couple of different devices now and am still seeing the same errors. Overall, its a fun game and worth downloading, but it needs some more work before its great,

this game is amazing. I love the style and the whole game is free unlike the others which are sort of demos.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty neat for a few playthroughs
Downloaded free, entertaining for a few playthroughs, I would say that it is worth the download if you don't mind text based sorta games.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great while it lasts
It is a very short storyline. Excellent concept and execution, but it just ends too soon. If it was even twice as long I would give it 5 stars.
