Armed with the insights in this book, many dating mistakes, and possibly divorces, could be prevented. This book encourages Biblical study, provokes thought, and challenges one to really take a hard look at the dating choices we "don't make" therefore allowing society to make for us. The authors ask hard-hitting questions such as "Does a dating relationship leave you with a greater motivation to obey God, to respond to his leading?", make statements such as "...only the right kind of dating is adequate preparation for the right kind of marriage", and continually refer to God's word as their authority. This book is excellant for group or individual study. I only wish I had read it when it was recommended to me several years ago.

To everything there is a season...

Biblical study and discussion has taught me a lot about the will of the Lord, but in the areas of sex I've always had some grave concerns about how I can conduct myself as a good Christian woman. Some of the things that come up while dating are really hard to handle. It's a messy situation when you're trying do the right thing and your desires run contrary to celibacy. I know that before reading this book and benefiting from the terrific advice contained within, I went through tons of kleenex after every date.

"Choices" helped me find a wonderful, caring relationship. Without the sound advice and suggestions that really speak to today's times and practices, I would have been at a loss to acknowledge my needs for fear they might run counter to the Lord's will. Now I'm able to relax and enjoy the pleasure of being loved and loving someone, because I know that God wants us to have a loving partnership with each other.

This is a great book, I recommend it highly to anyone who struggles with these issues.

From the first sentence, this book spoke to me because it really just makes a whole lot of sense. It answered a lot of the questions I had in regards to doing dating & marriage God's way. Paula & Stacy relate to the reader through the use of stories and analogies that I was easily able to identify with. God has really used the Rineharts to speak to us through their writing.

I am really enjoying this book! It provides insight into difficult issues and is based on strong Christian principles. It's changed my outlook on sexuality. I def. recomend this!

Very good book about dating and preparing for marriage from a Christian perspective. Written in an easy to understand manner with examples and study guide at the end of each chapter.

It definitely gives you something to think about. There is a lot of truth to what they say and the reasoning behind it. Getting both perspectives (male/female) I think is what made the book more valuable.
