Where's the Sodium??,

This review is from: The Cholesterol Counter: 7th Edition (Mass Market Paperback)
Yes, this book does list cholesterol counts for all kinds of foods, but the lack of sodium counts makes it almost worthless for my purposes. When my husband had heart surgery last month, I had to immediately find ways to control both his cholesterol and sodium consumption, so I ordered this book and was amazed to find no sodium counts anywhere in the book. It would seem logical to me that most people interested in finding the cholesterol counts of the food they eat would want to see sodium counts as well. Instead of this book, I would recommend THE ULTIMATE CALORIE, CARB & FAT GRAM COUNTER by Lea Ann Holzmeister, RD, CDE. It contains the counts for virtually everything anyone might be looking for -- Cholesterol, Sodium, Carbs, Calories, Fat, Saturated Fat, Fiber, and Protein.
