Choose your future is a solid bit of meta-fiction. Stephen Livingston paints a clear and vivid mental picture through an unusual landscape. The story reminded me a little of James Joyce or Irwine Welsh, which is a compliment either way. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes strange short fiction.

At first glance, 7 pages seems too short. But while the story doesn't feel lacking, it also doesn't seem memorable. I read it, and probably will forget about it after a while.

Have I just seen the future? The author describes a fate for us consumer-humans that is all-too likely, and we're going to sleep-walk right into it... Believable characters, authentic accents; highly recommended.

I was asked by Amazon to write a review and I had to go back and see if I even had read it.
It had not much of an impression on me. I went back to my archives and reread it. No wonder I could not remember it, and it certainly was not worth the time doing that.
I am glad it was free because it was not worth much more.

I have downloaded 4 of Mr. Livingston's eBooks. I never got beyond "32%" on my Kindle for this one. Believe me, I tried 6 times. I am grateful I did not buy it. I will not download any more of his work. His writing is just not the style I enjoy.
