I find Choosing Joy a very practical book to have. It lays out clear and simple suggestions as to how one can make long lasting, positive changes in his or her life. Gary Null really gets you "on the move" WHILE you're reading the book, as opposed to "some time in the future" by recommending to use a notebook, and do all the homework, that he assigns throughout the book. If you're a regular listener of Gary Null's radio show "Natural Living" on WBAI (99.5 FM), most of the issues, that Gary talks about in this book will not be foreign to you. On the other hand, I think it is very nice to have his advice down on paper, on your bookshelf, at home!!! You know what I mean?? God bless Gary for his hard work, and God bless You all!!

Not only is this book the best Gary Null has ever written, it is probably the #1 self-help book I've ever reas as well. If you read my reviews, I've read tons of self-help books over the years. I just picked this book up recently and I was blown away. If only I had this book in my possession 5 years ago when it was first written.

One extremely interesting concept of many that Gary lays out in this book is about daydreaming. He tells us to keep a log of all of the things we daydream about. Take note of the patterns that develop. Then after reviwing this log, you will be able to decide what you truly want and desire out of life. I've done this, and it literally knocked my socks off. This was just one of the many brilliant exercises laid out in this book.

If you have any doubt whatsoever about the state of your mental health, or you just want to open your mind to the endless possibilities there are for us in the world today, read this book. You'll be very glad you did.
