Ladies, set aside some time for yourself, because once you begin reading you will not be able to put this book down! Ms. Arylo has lent her knowledge and experience to us in this eye-opening book, giving step-by-step instructions to help us avoid the curse of relationship distortion, which so many of us share. She encourages us not to fear the changes life has in store - but use them as our guide. Ms. Arylo clearly explains, girlfriend-to-girlfriend, that once you have control of your life and are aligned with the universe, you are then in control of your happiness, which will flow naturally.

Choosing Me Before We is a fun, easy read, and beneficial on many levels. Ms. Arylo does a great job of helping to put things in perspective which allows you to focus on the most important person -- you! I highly recommend it.

Choosing ME before WE, was a book I could not put down. It was like getting to know my TRUE self for the first time. I am a middle school counselor and have read many many different self help books and this by far is one of the best.
This book opened my eyes on how I was seeking others for self validations (men particularly), rather then myself. Through the exercise and questions asked through out this book, I reached the "aha" moments that Oprah Winfrey talks about. This book touched my heart and soul. I wished I read this book 10 years ago.

I think we've all experienced that moment when we realized that we've been living our life in complete denial. Everything seems fine. You are giving and trying to make your relationship work. He seems resistant. If only he'd try a little harder or be a little more attentive. Still, you know you can make this work.

Then, without warning the fairytale falls apart. The relationship breaks down. Sitting alone in the dark eating ice cream, you have an epiphany. Instead of making the exact same mistakes and following the same unhealthy relationship patterns, it is time to love yourself first.

Choosing Me before We looks at nurturing and loving ourselves so that we can be open to a healthy relationship. So many of us seem to believe a relationship is going to fix us and solve all our problems. That's absolutely true- so long as the relationship we cultivate is with ourselves.
