The works on this CD are uniformly excellent -

Here's some notes that serve to describe the contents of this CD -
"The Opus 111 Exploration of Chopin is an invitation to a musical journey which begins before his birth and stretches into our future. It paints a picture of the composer's inheritance, his achievement and his legacy and it tells the story of a sensitive genius. We start with Chopin's musical roots on the Polish plains and we end with his last performance in Paris. The world has not stopped playing Chopin since bears witness to the prophetic nature of Chopin's music. Opus 111's Voyage takes a modern look at the heritage of the past and creates a link between the old and the new."
