I watched this film while living in the UK. I was a single motorcycling "chick" with a taste for horror, and I thought the film was a real hoot. It absolutely should not be taken as anything more than a spoof of the cheesy b-movie horror films, and setting the monsters to such a twee little tune was a stroke of genius. Enjoy, but don't take too seriously!

Most Troma films are infamous for being badly made and corny and very gross. But surprisingly this film was slightly better. It stars a few known faces and in particular Ed Gale (who portrayed Chucky in some secenes in the 'Child's Play' movies) a gun-totting dwarf! Bizarre, funny and unique. You may be pleasently surprised.

OK. So the story is a stretch. But since I've stayed many times in the town of 80 people where it was filmed it is special to me. The general store, only bar, and the front of the hotel where I stay are major scenes. Besides, a girl motorcycle gang ("Cycle Sluts"), zombies, and a school bus full of blind orphans. All in a nearly ghost town. What more do you need for an innovative story line?

With a name like "Chopper Chicks in Zombietown" it should be good...and it is. It was alot better then I expected it to be. After all it has alot of the essential elements that make a good movie- a dwarf, cheezy music and effects, blind kids, biker chicks, and meat-eating zombies. What more could you want? And Hal Sparks (gotta love the guy) always seems to get the best lines in all of his movies, such as "A dwarf, blind kids, d*kes on bikes- we could start a side show!" Anyway, this movie is definatley worth atleast a rent. Enjoy!

I went to a private showing of this film with Oakland's Harley Owners Group years ago at the Pizza Hut after a Berkeley theater decided to cancel the showing.

This film brings new meaning to the designation "low budget". The "Cycle Sluts" are a pack of tantalizing beauties who ride hard across the desert on shiny new hogs by day and sleep around a campfire each night. However, in every scene the girls appear as though they have just stepped out of the beauty salon.

When the biker women come across a small town and find that the dead are coming back to life,... Sound familiar? This flick doesn't try to hide the fact that it's "The Wild One" meets "Night of the Living Dead". The only way to kill a zombie is by burning it, and just before they burst into flames, the zombies turn to motionless manikins. The plot and the actors get dumber by the minute.

You've got to own this movie. Only one thing -- just don't want to watch it sober.

Lesbian biker chicks, midgets, Billy Bob Thorton, and blind kids!!!!! Who could ask for more????? One of Troma's best,

C'mon, what's the point of giving a lousy movie 5 or 4 stars? Are you trying to trick someone into wasting their money? Or are you showing since you're an aficionado you can overlook bad acting, no real plot, no suspense, no frights, and no real reason to get excited? The movie had potential, who doesn't like lesbian bikers kicking zombie tail? But, it just does not deliver. The acting is Billy Jack quality. Remember how bad that was? There is no humor, except for the silly music played when the un-frightening zombies spend more than half the movie slooooowly stumbling down the road to town. The bikers are not cool, menacing, interesting, or sexy. Their exploits are dull; their conquests are like a Love Boat episode, except the actors are not as attractive. Oh man, could this movie have used just a little skin.

I likes me zombie movies, and I'm not expecting much from a move featuring Cycle Sluts and zombies. I would have been disappointed if it had been competent and mainstream. And, I'll concede it is an honest attempt at making an entertaining zombie movie. Heck, it's got a bug-eyed villain, dwarfs, blind orphans, dikes on bikes, Billy Bob Thonton, and zombies. But, it just didn't come together. Maybe if they had doubled the budget to like, $200, and made the actors, er, act... But, they didn't. You must include this one, NOT. In the pantheon of low budget zombie flicks, this one has a great title, and a great concept, but it's lower tier.

"chopper chicks" was a great movie! it was one that i had a great deal of difficulty finding... i actaully wanted to see it, because the new host of talk soup,hal sparks, is in it. after seeing it once i soon wish to purchase it. hal played a blind orphan named lance. it was a really cool movie! i redommend it to anyone!

Dvd was in great shape along with the case. I came very quickly which was great since it was a present. I would recommend buying from this person again.

I have purchased a number of biker exploitation movies and this is the worse. My friends who were invited for a boys night out won't even speak to me now. It is a wonder how the producers spent so much to produce this DULL movie. The budget alone for the new Sportsters must have been a fortune. How Billy Bob Thornton ever had a major career after this movie is hard to believe. Mercifully for him he was killed off early.
