First B.G. is the original Hot Boy He's been with Cash Money since the age of 12! (All of this is before juvenile ,lil wayne, turk) It was little doogie (now KNown as B.G.) unlv, ms tee, mannie and baby. TRue storyz drops from a cash money group called the BG'Z (lil dougie, lil wayne and some other young gunz) Lil dougie (BG) rapped all over this album most of the rapping was him. Keep in mind B.G is only 13-14. He rhymed somuch they started torefer to him as BG thats where the name originated. Cash money still had other artists and they were dropping albums but the weren't as bangin. Finally CHOPPER CITY DROPS! And buy this time all other cash money artists have been wiped out and a 16 year old is left to hold down a record label. Chopper City Sells about 250,000 independent. So they drop It's All on u Vol 1.(BG's third album) Another 250,000 sold independent. Finally Juvenile gets his first album Souljah Rags.(Keep in mind all these albums are before Ha so there are considered classics there raw when juvenile is showing that he is still hungry and doesn't sing the whole song.VOL 2 drops(BG's fourth solo album)(now vol 2 and chopper city are always thought to be the best cash money albums ever)THis is how i could prove that bg is cash money and the best hot boy lil wayne and turk base there style off bg you have to realize bg would be a major influence if he already has 4 albums before the age of 18. This 1996 release from B.G. was apparent that he was a major influence to Cash Money getting that Universal deal. Before B.G. was talking that "Bling, Bling" it was about hustling with his mentor Baby aka Birdman. "Represent" would have been the best song but the music drains the vocals of B.G. and his featured guest. With titles like "Niggas Don't Understand" featuring Big Tymers their destiny was being fulfilled for them being a force in the industry. The original verion of "Uptown Thang 'Wait'n On Your Picture'" is a standout on Chopper City. As much as Baby Gangster spoke of his lifestyle he goes to telling the story of missing his father on "So Much Death". "Niggas N Trouble" was an introduction to a monster by ex-No Limit Soldier Mac (that almost stole the song) who is now serving time for a murder. Not quite as good as It's All On U, Vol. 1, but it's still solid with the production from Mannie Fresh. If I'm calculating correct during the release of Chopper City, B.G. was 15-years old and his hood of Valence and Magnolia's 13th Ward, New Orleans, Louisiana is represented well.

This is B.G. Best album cause it's just 2 street and i like it cause i'm street B.G. He kept it Gutta wit niggas n trouble and so much death oh can't forget don't understand i guess dat's y he my favorite rapper he street 2 da bone like soulja slim would say (R.I.P. SOULJA SLIM)

When this album came out everyone who first heard it knew it was a monster. At the time I was living in VA and all I heard on the radio was music out of NY, nothing wrong with that but I'm from N.O and had a hard time looking for home grown CD's. So I finally notice a CD with the CMR label on it and bought it immediatly and it was B.G.. This was the only album from my hometown I rocked morning, noon, and night, that is until another home grown talent blew up(MP).

I love the intro by the Big Tymers and you have to love the #1 single off this album "Uptown Thang". You will not be dissapointed if you purchase this CD.

You must have this album.
IT is easy to see why BG is the vision of a Hotboy. This cd shows why he is always gonna be the hottest hotboy. No matter how much Juvenile sells, and that Lil Wayne is one of the best rappers(top 10 at least), there's not many cds thas beter than this one.
#4 is the only skipper.
This was my second BG cd(I bought Checkmate first).
If your gonna listen to the samples, listen to #7,11 & 12. Especially #12.

"Chopper City" is definitely B.G.'s best album. Not just according to me, but to all tha otha TRU CMR fans out there and B.G. himself. With cuts like "All On U," the song where the beat for "Cash Money Is An Army" is taken from, this album truly shines amongst ALL Cash Money releases. If you're lookin for an album to start a huge Cash Money collection, this is definitely one you should consider.

The album that starts the rise of the B.G. This is definitely prime material. My personal favorite is Retaliation. Definitely check this one out. You won't regret it!
