This is a great book for anyone interested in the art of chopping tops.The book takes you through the various processes of top chops with plenty of photos and information of different cars being "chopped".The author writes in an easy to understand format and explains each step.

A good quality book and good value.The country town of Castlemaine,where the publisher is located is known as the hot rodding city of Australia.I highly recommend this book.

This book does an excellent job of spelling out all of the steps that he uses when chopping a top. HOWEVER, there are many different ways of chopping a top and this book only covers one of them, and it is the most labor-intensive and difficult to pull off. Cutting the roof skin off of the top and lowering it does look great but also requires a lot more delicate welding, grinding, and body work than a typical chop-and-drop.
If you buy this book be sure to also get "How to Chop Tops" by Tex Smith. Then you'll have more of an idea of the range of methods and techniques that can be used.

I liked this book, it has very specific instructions however they can be a little confusing. There were not very many cars or trucks discussed in the book however the ones that were were well documented by photos.
