5.0 out of 5 stars Something extraordinary, April 21, 2001

Peter Hallberg (Basel Switzerland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Choralis Septentrionalis: Early Scandinavian Chorale (Audio CD)
This is a superb CD! Seldom, very seldom, does one come across an early music recording that truly offers a fresh and innovative approach combined with high technical proficiency. Retrover has (again) accomplished this objective. Anyone interested in the music before Bach should absolutely get this one. Too bad, Opus 111 has become too cheap to include the German text translations.
