By understanding how chords are constructed, you'll be able to make ANY chord on the spot because you understand them. Mr. Ellis' program totally puts an end to the practice of memorizing hand positions from chord charts because when you simply memorize hand positions, you don't understand chords. In just a few hours, you'll be able to play THOUSANDS of chords off the top of your head because you understand how they're constructed. I bought this book because I tinker with piano and the author's name was the same as mine. Wow! I was blown away by the time I finished the book. It is only 56 pages long, but I swear I can not only make thousands of chords now, I can even understand what I'm playing. I can open a song book and in minutes figure out how to play the chords to any song. I gave it a five-star rating, but if I could give it ten, I would.
