I've used this product in the past; when you could
actually purchase them 3 in a pack from the grocery
store; however, the recent ones I received paled
in comparison. The newer copper pads aren't as
durable, or as thick as they once were. Color
me disappointed.

Works great on cookware and removes burnt on grease where scouring pads won't - I use it with Bon Ami (similar to Bar Keeper's) and it really works like magic. However, it just doesn't last. Its made of copper but it gets unusably flat *very* soon. Until I find a lasting replacement, there's nothing like it!

I find these way better than steel wool. Part of that is the difficulty of finding steel wool (except in hardware stores) that isn't already pre-loaded with scrubbing compound. I'm surprised at the other reviews, since these are my favorite heavy-duty scrubbing pads ever. They make short work of tough, burned on stains on the bottom of pots.
