I think this book was made for people who either live in Hawaii or in big cities. I live in Austin and cannot find the essential ingredients.

Some of the best poke recipe's anywhere. I've been looking for Sam's Fried A'u poke recipe ever since he closed his restuarant in Kaloko, and the grill at the Kona Bowl. These take me back to happier times before I had to leave Kona.

We so enjoyed the food dish poke and its many variations on Kauai that we truly missed it when we came home.
