Since becoming a Christian, I've grown to dislike about 99% of music, and about 99.8% of Christian music. Someone recommended the Getty's to me and I looked them up on YouTube and fell instantly in love with their music.

Their songs are so biblically based it is incredible; they understand that God's love and his justice meet at the cross, and that he's not an amatory God.

This music is God-glorifying and saint-edifying. It is highly recommended.

This CD contains some of our family's and our congregation's favorite worship music. So much comtemporary Christian music today consists of songs about "me, me, me!" This CD is focused on Christ. It is worshipful, doctrinally sound, written in easy to listen-to comtemporary style, some songs with a celtic influence. Very enjoyable musically. Keith and Kristtn Getty consider themselves to be modern hymn writers. This is true of their music. But, stylwise, it is not old-fashoined. Highly recommended!

I am loving this CD for the original, beautiful music and inspiring messages. My favorite song mentions looking for the "treasure in the trial" that God brings to difficult circumstances. My 8 yr old was singing along in the back of the car yesterday!

I love these thoughtful hymns for, unlike many modern hymns that use repetitive mantras, the lyrics are designed to have depth.

I particularly like "Beneath the Cross of Jesus" in the traditional version is followed by "I fain would take my stand". In the version on this CD it is followed, with the more confident, with "I find a place to stand".

I also purchased the music book that goes with this CD. I like the Celtic style of the songs and Kristyn sings with contemplative freshness. This CD has some of the most popular of the Getty's songs.

I purchased this CD about two weeks before Easter, and it immediately went into high rotation in my player. The songs are wonderfully rich in their encapsulation of Christian theology (reformed) and their presentation of Christ's accomplishment on the Cross.
The music is more melodic than many CCM artists, and much less pop-oriented. Many of the songs would be wonderful for group worship, which seems to be their purpose.
This will stay with me a long time, in a good way.

Great Songs that teach the faith. I enjoy listening to the CD, though it is lighter listening than a lot of other stuff I usually listen to. As far as the production and the performances go, some are really good, others are just okay. I bought this CD more to check out the songs for us in worship, most of the songs are worth consideration for worship services. I hope more people follow in the footsteps of the Gettys and Stuart Townend in desiring to write worship songs that have well-written lyrics that are God-centered and distinctly Christian, and music that is intended to be easily sung by everyone. Thanks Keith and Kristen for filling a great need in Christian music for artistic, poetic depth and even more importanly, good theology.

So thankfull that their is Modern Music that moves me to Worship God in Spirit and Truth.

I like this song, because I feel Jesus who is around me and I will not feel to scare to death. He is my salvation,always love me.

these are great inspirational songs. like hymns, done in a slightly more contemporary way. keith getty really writes some great, powerful songs, and kristen sings them well. it's worth having and listening to.

This is a wonderful cd. The music is great, and the words are excellent. So full of good theology. It's uplifting and encouraging and challenging. I highly recommend it!
