This classic book was a part of my father's childhood, and my own. I was truly grateful to be able to find this edition, which I purchased for my own three children. The copy is exactly as I remember, the illustrations are sumptuous and the story very moving in its direct simplicity. Truly a beutiful book for any one who celebrates Christmas.
