As a priest searching to bring together faith and science in a personally convincing manner, I have found this book very valuable in that it brings to the table not only historically important religious values and traditions, but the latest ongoing scientific discoveries. I want to understand both and solidify my relationship with the Divine in an engaging personal manner. I believe that both science and faith flow from depths of our human reality, pushing forward toward meaning, understanding and growth... This book gives new light and joyful hope.

As a lay contemplative, this is the best book I've read in five years on the future of Christianity in dialogue with the world's great religions. I have given this book to four of my priest friends.

This is an erudite, prophetic work on the reality of Christ in the world and the religions of the world.

Excellent, 21st century thinking. Well done. starting from the modern cosmological scientific worldview, the author argues cogently for translating such thinking into a new Christology.

This book is hope for a new world view where we
Become true to ourselves and all in creation. Delio does an excellent job of pulling sources together to clearly make her point. Her books are life changing events.

Seeing Christ as the instigator of an evolutionary movement toward unity in God gives us a greater and wider relationship with those with whom we share this planet. Are you ready to move beyond the static understanding of Christ and embrace a cosmological exuberance of Christ in love?

This is heavy stuff. It will not be an easy read, but I guarantee the reader will find in words whole bodies of thought we just suspect are developing these days among the more thoughtful, searching people on this globe of ours. This book takes us beyond all divisions into a new consciousness and a new dimension of the Christ. Ilia Delio knows what's on the cafeteria counter of religions these days and quotes Ken Wilbur, John Cobb, Teilhard de Chardin, Pannikar, Bede Griffith, Thomas Merton, et al., to help develop this evolutionary book, a book that brings disparate matters into the same ball park in generous and inviting ways. You won't be sorry, if you commit yourself to Christ in Evolution. There won't be many people with whom you can share what you'll learn, however. The enlightened individual, especially if one needs relationships, will feel a bit more lonely with what is gained from this read. Go for it!
