A lot has been written on the search for the historical Jesus. When discussing Christology, conversations tend to side-line the mystical nature of Christ while regarding the historical and existential person of Christ as paramount.
In this book, Dr Forster explores the value of the mystical being of Christ through the life and works of Fr Bede Griffiths. Although some may regard Fr Griffiths' claims to be far-fetched, Dr Forster succeeds in bringing to light the relevance of this perspective to modern living. On further exploration, one is sure to find grounds for interfaith dialogue where all faiths can be in honest conversation without being asked to relinquish their perspectives or to delve in mediocrity. This book is written in a style which is conversational and understandable and promises to raise discussion. |
