This is a very helpful guide. It does a fine job of discussing and leading one to understand why we Christians are to be Caregiving in our lifestyle. However, it does not provided much information on how to apply this caregiving to specific stresses (job loss, financial problems), anxieties (Fear of future, Personal inadequacy, etc.) and illnesses (Cancer, Stroke, Mental Illness, Life-long Disability)in life. There is also the concept of compassion fatique which needs to be more fully examined. This occurs when the caregiver cannot give anymore until some respite and relief comes to the caregiver. This guide with the actual manual are good starts to lead the Christian into a more effective Christian caring and support role with other people - Christian and non-Christian.
