This book is truly worth the price. It may be alittle bit of a heavy read for some but the archaeological expertise contained within the pages of this book and the plethora of pictures of the Christian Catacombs in Rome makes it an immensely enjoyable read.

There is even a pull out map that comes with the book of all the catacomb sites that will come in handy if one should ever find oneself in Rome and in need of a guide to the catacombs located there.
