5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Foundation!!
Although this is expensive a little goes along way and it is amazing! Nice even coverage without being oily or looking like "Make-up", It is so natural looking and light. I doubt I will use any other foundations than Airflash by Dior.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for ALL skin types
This makeup clogs your pore, and highlights existing clogged pores. So if you're planning to use it, make sure you use purifying strips (from Biore or Boscia) beforehand. Also, there are not many shades in this makeup, making it tough to match your skin tone. Also, it takes a few tries to put it on right, and you need to use a makeup setting spray to make it more...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for ALL skin types, June 18, 2011
This makeup clogs your pore, and highlights existing clogged pores. So if you're planning to use it, make sure you use purifying strips (from Biore or Boscia) beforehand. Also, there are not many shades in this makeup, making it tough to match your skin tone. Also, it takes a few tries to put it on right, and you need to use a makeup setting spray to make it more matte.

So, I believe this makeup does not suit dry or combination skin types, as it seems to be drying, and looks so powdery!

5.0 out of 5 stars DiorSkin AirFash Spray Foundation, March 23, 2007
This review is from: Christian Dior Skin Airflash Spray Foundation 300, Medium Beige, 2.3 Ounce (Misc.)
Great coverage -It is so lightweight that you feel like you aren't wearing any makeup at all! I was a little worried that the "spray" would get all over, but it's really easy to apply. It actually makes your skin look flawless!

5.0 out of 5 stars its all in the application, ladies!, April 13, 2011
i've used this foundation on myself and all of my friends. all of them love it when i apply it. i've known a few people who hated it when they did it on themselves until i taught them how to use it. application is absolutely everything with this product! and if you figure out how to use it right, not only will it last you a longer amount of time, but you will have an absolutely FLAWLESS finish. airflash works so well that technically, you wont need primer or concealer with it, but i like to prime anyway. and ladies, if you have skin that gets oily throughout the day, set your foundation with a powder and carry some with you to blot when you're looking extra shiny.

first things first, dont spray this directly on your face. i know the directions tell you to do that, but use your brain. it does not make sense to waste all of that product when this stuff is expensive enough as it is! it doesn't make sense to put this all over your hair either. dont spray this on a sponge - sponges will soak this stuff right up and since it dries quickly, there is no sense in using a sponge. but what you should use is a big poofy brush. personally, i use the brush that came with my BE mineral makeup kit and it works wonderfully. not only do i get to use the maximum amount of product this way, but i'm also able to buff it into my skin. when i sprayed it on my face directly, i really hated the fuzzy appearance it gave me. buffing it into your skin gets rid of that peachfuzz effect and will also make it last a lot longer throughout the day.

the second suggestion is to make it long lasting - use a base foundation or tinted moisturizer. using this product to top off your every day drug store foundation works wonderfully and gives the same effect without having to use as much of the product in one sitting. it works very well on its own but if you want to make your can last AND use this on a daily basis, have a base foundation or tinted moisturizer. this stuff also works as concealer btw, spray a bit of it on a concealer brush and use it to hide blemishes and the like.

overall, this product works very well. i love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Light and soft, February 9, 2008
This foundation made my skin feel soft and it did not sit on my face like frosting. It is light and fabulous! After I began using it, I had a coworker ask me if I had a makeover. Love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it, December 7, 2007
This is a great solution to wearing foundation. I don't like wearing foundation but lets face it, we all look better with some coverage. The Dior product really works and it works much better than the MAC product. I've had both!

4.0 out of 5 stars Best foundation I've ever used, April 11, 2011
I decided to give this product a try after seeing a picture of a local news reporter whose complexion looked flawless -- someone asked what type of make-up she used and she said Dior AirFlash foundation applied with a kabuki brush ...
I purchased a can in my skin tone shade, along with the recommended kabuki brush, and the product did not disappoint at all. I don't really wear foundation except to "spot correct" in blotchy or red areas ... this did the trick and I think b/c I was only using in small, targeted areas, the can has lasted me a very long time.
I liked the fair color that I got so much that I went and purchased the "Bronze," as well, to create a tan look for the summer time -- this can ran out much faster b/c I used it all over my face and sometimes on my chest to create an even, tanned look -- and it truly made me look glowing, healthy, and tan -- I've literally had multiple men comment on my great skin when wearing it!!!
I LOVE this product -- the only down sides are that it doesn't last a super long time and it's expensive ... but I guess, like others have said, you get what you're paying for ... I'd rather put out the money for this than try to use a lesser expensive product that doesn't do the same excellent job.

The foundation is very smooth and seems to last almost all day for me. Normally, most makeup is gone from my face in a couple of hours or less. I touch my face too much. But this one seems to stay put without feeling like I am wearing a plaster of Paris mask all day. It stays looking fresh significantly longer than I normally expect.

I am not entirely sure WHY the spray can. I think the idea is you can try to spray it on so you will have an airbrushed perfect look...but for me I end up with big circles of thick makeup on my face and my hair looks gray from all of the overspray. I spray it onto my finger or a sponge and apply like any other foundation. The bottle seems to last longer when I apply it that way too. Very nice product. Love Dior makeup.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Foundation I've ever used, September 25, 2009
This is by far the best, easiest foundation I've ever used. The color coding is tricky, so go to a major dept. store and have them help you chose the correct color for you. I really can't say enough about this product. It's easy, fast & flawless. Sometimes I error on the side of spraying on too much, because it's so light, I don't feel anything, so be careful not to use too much, or it's looks weird. The only negative, THE PRICE!!! $60!!! It kills me to spend that much, but I haven't found anything that even comes close to this product as far as quality, color and long-lasting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great with some minor issues, December 8, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The DiorSkin Airflash Spray Foundation is an excellent product. It provides good coverage and a very smooth, even finish. I would recommend to spray the foundation on a brush and use it that way, rather than actually airbrushing directly to the face. The product comes out of the can fairly forcefully and may create a mess around the hairline. I have not yet been brave enough to try that. Sprayed onto a foundation brush and then applied to the face works very well. The shade is slightly darker than most other "lightest" shades I have tried, so if you are very fair, it may be a little bit too beige. It just about works for me if I apply the product sparingly. I would definitely buy this again, it is a great foundation product and my dry skin tolerates it very well.
