I use this blush #829 regularly. It is a soft, natural pink. There is some 'frosting' in part of the compact, but it is very subtle - really not noticeable- when applied. Use a large, stubby brush, with a very light hand. Gradually build to the color you want. The darker shades would be too dark for me. I have light skin with rosacea. I use Chanel Matt Lumiere with SPF15, which is just a cut above Neutrogena and Almay products in this category. {way pricier, though!} Then, an application of the Dior blush blends in the uneven redness from rosacea.

Ideal Blusher,

I have rosacea so using blush products is either pointless or counterproductive - they usually look too intense/too pink or red. I usually just use highlighters or shimmer powder/cream to highlight my cheekbones without adding color, but I tried one of these blushers because the color seemed so soft & pretty. Even over the rosacea (with or without foundation) my cheekbones were more noticeable without intensification of the redness- so I tried another shade and got the same results. I think that even if you don't have rosacea this is a great blush because it looks prettier than having noticeable areas of color on your cheeks- as most blushers tend to do. The right shade for your skintone can help to make you look better without the appearance of having too much color on your cheeks. It has just the right amount of subtle shimmer, not too matte & not too sparkly (for more shimmer try Dior's ShimmerStar- awesome!). I highly recommend this blush, especially for daytime use and for those of us over 40! It IS ridiculously expensive, but I think it's worth it because of the results- most blushers don't even compare. I'm hoping to buy another one soon!
