Needs Updating
This is a very comprehensive book on adult education from a Christian perspective. It is the best I've found, from a Christian perspective. This is unfortunate given that it was published in 1993 and all the scholarly work done in the field of adult learning and education since that date is not yet available in a Christian text.

Gangel and Wilhoit address the theology, methods, content, philosophies present in the current arena of Christian adult education. This book is comprised of chapters by several eminent figureheads in adult education (Malcolm Knowles, for example). In a succinct exposition, this book offers incredible insight to the Christian educator. Although written from the Christian framework, this treatise rigorously engages education principles that can be applied across educational arenas.
