About the Author
Dr. Tsoukalas is assistant professor of apologetics and Christian thought at Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He received his PhD in Theology from the University of Birmingham (England), his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and his Master of Theology in Religions of the World from Harvard University Divinity School. In addition to teaching, Dr. Tsoukalas is the executive director and senior research consultant for Sound Doctrine Ministries. Christian Faith 101 is one of seven books he has published.

This book is an excellent resource for understanding the Basic Tenants of Christianity. It important for Christians to have a solid understanding of the true teachings of the Bible since false teachings are so prevalent in our society. As the saying goes, "You have to stand for something or you'll fall for anything!". Christian Faith 101 allows readers to quickly grasp the essential teachings of the Bible and to understand WHY they believe what they believe. This book is a great resource for obtaining a solid Christian foundation and covers the basic Biblical tenants without going into denominational doctrines. Each chapter contains a "Basics" section (perfect for new believers) and a "Beyond the Basics" section (for those that are more mature in their faith or desirous of more in-depth theology). All statements and explanations are thoroughly supported with scriptural references. The book is short, easy to read, and prepares one to fulfill the command of 1Peter 3:15, "But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,".
