The best book I have ever read on Christian prayer. The book is very informative, very accurate, and very thorougly Bible-based. It enriched deeply my prayers as well as my relationship to God. The book covers all topics related with prayer from praying with your spouse and children to keeping a diary with your prayers.

A beautiful and moving book I would absolutely recommand for every sincere Christian.

It was wonderful. It covered all aspects of prayer, including, many I wasn't even aware of. The book was written in clear, concise language. I recommend it for anyone interested in prayer.

I borrowed a copy from my pastor, spilled coffee on it and bought this for him...which meant I got to keep his. Found it so useful that I bought a copy for my daughter.

I've always had trouble thinking what to say in my prayers. This is a good primer for those with the same difficulty.

For the years and over that I've owned this book, it has become a great resource as a clear, understandable explanation of Christian prayer and as a practical guide for taking prayerful action. In my service as the prayer leader at my church, I use it as the textbook for a beginning class on prayer, and extra copies of it don't last long in our "bookstore." My thanks to Richard Wagner for this handy guide!

I was so happy to see that book was finally written. I have asked every holy person I know how to feel God and make sure he hears my words. I want to be sure he hears me, so I always thought I had to shout, seeing as how heaven is so far away. But this book makes it clear, he is everywhere and can hear me anytime. So I make sure to pray everywhere and all the time. Especially when I feel the most vulnerable, and naughty. Thanks to the writers of Christian Prayer for Dummies, dummies.

For weeks I've struggled with the ins and outs of Christian prayer. I've often feared that I may be unintentionally praying to Satan or - Heaven forbid - his evil twin, Allah. Other times, I've simply felt as if - instead of volunteering at homeless shelters, raising AIDs awareness in third world countries, or not watching a 10 hour marathon of John and Kate Plus 8 - I was kneeling in a pool of my own apathy and half-heartedly talking to myself while my prayers for world peace, an end to suffering, and the resurrection of Brittany Murphy went unanswered. Well, no longer! Richard Wagner has really opened my eyes with this one. Christian Prayer for Dummies (or simply "Prayer" for short) is at least ten full pages long and answers all of the questions I never knew I had about prayer etiquette. Hands flat or fingers clasped? In a church or while making love to my wife? Crucifix in regular or inverted position? I now have the answers to all of these questions and more. Let me tell you, since I've skimmed inattentively through this wonderful Christian tutorial all of my prayers have been answered almost immediately. Just moments ago I prayed for the eradication of poverty and lo and behold, I've just acquired nearly 75 cents from a recently abandoned chair of a coworker. I'm positive that similar effects are being experienced throughout the developing world as I write this review. Don't thank me Makatemehta Arubogahtasha, thank Richard Wagner for his wonderful pamphlet, Christian Prayer is for Dummies.

When I first bought this book, I was skeptical. I mean, how could praying to an invisible being improve my life or the lives of others? Once I started using its methods though, my life really improved. The chapter on how to invoke God's wrath was especially useful. I used it to get my atheist boss struck by lightning! Now I have his job! Thanks Wagoner!
