Julie Hanlon Rubio, who holds a Ph.D. in religion and social ethics from the University of Southern California, is assistant professor of moral theology at St. Louis University. She lives in St. Louis, MO, with her husband and three sons.

I've used this book as a text in my course for years now - it is one of the most practical and balanced books on the topic out there. The only reason that I don't give it five stars at this point is that some of the research and examples are a little dated now after almost a decade of being in print - esp in the first chapter. But all the concepts are still very helpful to think about, esp the chapter on the family and work balance.
