5.0 out of 5 stars A Christian Theology of Marriage and Family
Great book for discussion and very thought provoking.
I found the information from contemporary theolgians interesting. I am anxious to use the material in a class setting.

2.0 out of 5 stars Author has a big chip on the shoulder
The author does not hide her feminist bias. At every opportunity she points out how men are the cause for all that is wrong with the church and the world. There is no balance in the book. She never brings up opposing thoughts or ideas. This book is 200 pages of feminist theology.

4.0 out of 5 stars extremely helpful book, October 24, 2011
This review is from: A Christian Theology of Marriage and Family (Paperback)
I've used this book as a text in my course for years now - it is one of the most practical and balanced books on the topic out there. The only reason that I don't give it five stars at this point is that some of the research and examples are a little dated now after almost a decade of being in print - esp in the first chapter. But all the concepts are still very helpful to think about, esp the chapter on the family and work balance.
