5.0 out of 5 stars If you write for the Christian Market, then this book is essential, January 16, 2010
This review is from: Christian Writers' Market Guide 2010 (Paperback)
The world of Christian publishing--book and magazine--is constantly in motion. Sally E. Stuart is the marketing guru who tracks these changes and captures them for the writing community. This book marks the 25th anniversary edition of CHRISTIAN WRITERS' MARKET GUIDE.

According to Sally about 90% of every entry includes a change--a different editor, a different phone number or address or email or information about how to submit. Don't use an old guidebook because the entries are wrong. Get the current guide. It's a necessity for your writing in the Christian market.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Have For Every Writer, January 18, 2010
By
Dr. David Frisbie (Rancho Santa Fe, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Christian Writers' Market Guide 2010 (Paperback)
If you write for the Christian market, or if you'd like to --- this book is a must-have. Invest in the book, then invest 30 minutes a day to read the entries, scanning for markets that fit your message.

With so much consolidation and transition in publishing, the author estimates that about 90 percent of the entries have been adjusted, updated or completely changed since the 2009 edition. So if you're clinging to your 2006 book, thinking "It's still mostly right" --- you haven't been paying attention.

Buy this book today and begin contacting editors whose markets fit your passion and your expertise. The more queries you write, the more likely it is that you'll see your name in print during 2010 and beyond...

Sally Stuart has done all the work for writers. You can find anything by topic, publishers, or genre aa well as lots of other things, like contests... This is an excellent resource so you don't make the mistake of sending a short story to an academic publisher and vice versa.

Sure you can browse the internet and spend hours on publishing websites and keep a notebook of your virtual journey but isn't there a better way to procrastinate?!

Thank you, Sally, for my new address book for writer's world - you are the best!
