Questions that help to reveal whether or not a person is prone towards domestic violence are also presented. The book is designed so that both partners can ask questions of one another, write down the answers (in the book) that their significant other gives them, and then (when they get a moment to themselves), take a cold hard look at the answers their significant other gave them in order to determine whether or not the two of them are truly compatible enough to marry one another. This book is also useful to persons who are not dating at present but who would like to know what to consider should they decide to begin dating. Additionally, this book is a helpful tool for clergy and Christian counselors to use when providing premarital counseling (or even when providing marital counseling).

About the Author

Elreta Dodds is an Associate Minister of Faith Christian Community Church which is located in Port Huron Michigan where Rev. Link Howard III is Pastor. She has authored and published four books, the titles of which are, "For Christians who are Seriously Dating or would like to Be (2004), "Is God a Chauvinist? The Bible and Women (2002), " "What the Bible really says about Slavery (2000)," and The Trouble with Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam (1997)." Dodds is certified in Advanced Church Ministry through the Evangelical Christian Association and is also Certified in Ministry through the Faith Center for Christian Education. She has a Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology both of which were obtained from Wayne State University where she graduated with Honors. Dodds is also a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Masters Level clinical Social Worker. She has signed books and lectured throughout the country since 1998. Dodds has also been interviewed on several radio and television programs including "American Black Journal" (Fall of 2006) and the Christian Television Network. She has been guest speaker at churches in New York, California, Miami Florida, Chicago, Dubuque Iowa, Southfield Michigan, Flint Michigan, Port Huron Michigan, Smith's Creek Michigan, and Detroit.
