Slower, thoughtful cd,

I first heard Courtin on WFUV radio out of Fordham University. I went and saw her, and loved the upbeat, funky sound and her unique voice. This cd appears to be an effort to show more range, and some of the upbeat songs I loved are set to a slower tempo on this record. Feels a little more moody than I expected, but still a great collection from a wonderful up-and-coming artist.
