Christmas was never THIS funny!
Johnboy and Billy take a humorous look at Christmas. There are some non-JB&B-related songs like "Christmas Balls" (sort of tongue-in-cheek, almost like AC/DC's "Big Balls") and "Ho Ho Ho" (tongue-in-cheek as well), and there are bits featuring the cast of the Big Show. There is an interesting but humorous take on "A Christmas...

OK, but not great
Buyers beware. The Porky Pig Blue Christmas song which is on this cd is NOT the version you've probably heard on the radio, or listened to on youtube (the one with the woman laughing hysterically in the backround). That was a bit of a letdown for me. The Mad Max On Christmas segment more than made up for it, however. If you want the original Porky Pig Blue Christmas, it...

That was a bit of a letdown for me. The Mad Max On Christmas segment more than made up for it, however. If you want the original Porky Pig Blue Christmas, it can be found on various download sites under the name "Seymour Swine and the Squealers".

There is an interesting but humorous take on "A Christmas Carol" called "A Goober Christmas Carol" featuring Goob who always says "DUH HUH" every five seconds. And my favorite...the zany Lipless sings "All I Want For Christmas Is For My Lips To Touch" as only as he can because his lips don't touch when he talks. I can't remember laughing so hard around Christmastime. Christmas was never THIS funny! And if you see Goober later on, tell him I said duh huh, he'll know whatcha mean. Y'all heep 'em straight up. Laaaaaa-ter!

I've got great big Christmas balls., November 28, 2007

John Boy & Billy are American radio hosts based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Their show is almost exclusively broadcast in the South, so I've never heard it. This CD features Christmas themed comedy bits broadcast on their show. The CD leads off with "Blue Christmas" sung in the style of Porky Pig. This hilarious recording is semi-legendary among fans of Christmas comedy. Another very funny song is "Christmas Balls". Most of the other tracks here involve characters from the radio show. They are somewhat funny, but I don't always "get" them, since I'm not familiar with the show. But fans of the show will probably find it to be very funny.

Everything on this cd makes me laugh- esp. Mad Max. "Daddy Santa bought me hot wheels I think I'll eaaat it!" Hahahaha. Best thing ever. The fact its on this site for 150 dollars is funny too, we found it in the bargain bin. :)
