4.0 out of 5 stars Corny, But Entertaining
No, its not the greatest album you've ever heard and no, its not exactly like listening to Metallica. However, they've done a fairly nice job of recreating some Metallica classics using the sleigh-bell sounds of Christmas music.

The standout track is Call, the most ominous sounding Christmas song you'll ever hear. Great for background at a Christmas party,...

1.0 out of 5 stars Sleigh bells do not make it a Christmas song
Stay away from this CD and it's companions (Holiday Tribute to AC/DC and Green Day). I bought them for less than $2 apiece and still got ripped off. The arrangements are cheezy keyboard dominated lounge tunes. Every song has sleigh bells being shaken in the background and that is it for being Christmas related. The standout track is Call, the most ominous sounding Christmas song you'll ever hear. Great for background at a Christmas party, its not your typical schlocky Chrsitmas album, but to outside ears, it will sound like it.

I thought this was going to be really lame, but it's not at all. It doesn't sound cheesy like I thought it would, it's really well done. If you're looking for good background Christmas music, something without lyrics, or just a change from the standard, I highly recommend this album.

The arrangements are cheezy keyboard dominated lounge tunes. Every song has sleigh bells being shaken in the background and that is it for being Christmas related. I am a confirmed Yule Head and have hundreds of Christmas recordings from piano rolls to the latest hip hop and every genre in between and these are the lamest of the bunch. What a complete waste of product.
