5.0 out of 5 stars A Delightful, Inspirational, Christmas must-read!, November 30, 2010
This review is from: Christmas Angels (Milford-Haven Stories) (Paperback)
If you're not familiar with the Milford-Haven novels, this book is a perfect introduction to the charming sea-side village in central California and its intriguing residents. If you've already visited Milford-Haven, either through the books or through the award-winning radio drama they're based on, this holiday collection of interwoven stories is like a delightful, inspirational holiday visit with some of your favorite characters:
Miranda Jones, the beautiful, intuitive professional artist and environmentalist; her sometime boyfriend, Zackery Calvin, scion of the town's wealthiest family and the area's most eligible bachelor, who is torn between Miranda and his old girlfriend, social-climbing Cynthia Radcliffe; Sally O'Malley, owner/proprietor of Milford-Haven's favorite restaurant, pregnant with the child of one man and newly married to her high-school sweetheart, Tony Fiorentino, paraplegic Vietnam veteran, woodworker, and hardware store owner; Cornelius Smith, scientist and outdoorsman; And Kevin Ransom, tall, handsome construction worker.
See how each one encounters the magic of a Christmas angel in their own unique ways, and you'll be sure to make this one of your annual "must-reads" every holiday season.
