I love reading this to my daughter. The pictures are wonderful, and do a great job portraying the story of jesus being born. And it also relates it to a baby being born in the image of God. I just Love it!!

My three and five year old love this book. It is a simple beautiful Christmas book and ends with how each baby brings God's smile to earth. This would be a great gift for a December baby in particular.

We own this and have read it every night before Christmas. It's a fantastic book that seems easy for my 2 year old daughter to follow. Wonderful pictures! She loves looking at the Angels and the Baby. And such a beautiful message. I highly recommend.

This book begins beautifully, but ends up misleading the reader. The book begins to talk about the wonder of Jesus' birth, but then gives the same accolades to your child's birth. It is almost heretical. I had to stop reading it while I was in the middle of the book. If you care about teaching your child about the diety of Christ and how He is Lord (and not us), then don't read this book to your child.

"Have you heard? A baby is coming!" As the couple knocks on door after door, the the answer comes, "No room," that is until, they come to a stable where the animals have heard the news and gladly welcome them, "Come in!"

It's a simple message for both child and for the adult who reads the story, "Have you heard? Do you have room for the Baby?" A perfect, true Christmas story that my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves.

"Read again!" she says many, many times.

What beautiful pictures. It is very simple look at the Christmas Story. My girl loved the colors and the pics of animals. I would suggest this if you are trying to explain Christmas to a younger child.
