Carola has a beautiful voice. On this album she sings holiday classics in a wide variety of styles. One some tracks she features other performers. She sings several familiar songs with novel arrangements: "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing", "The Little Drummer Boy", etc. On others ("Silent Night"!) you'll just find yourself lost in her voice. She sings a couple of original songs, and on "Find My Way to Bethlehem" you get a sense of what a powerful singer Carola can be! All this adds up to a great album. Play it with friends or family while enjoying good food and beverages. It'll be part of my holiday rotation this year and for years to come.

Every Christmas I purchase a new album of songs. Some are not well received by my family and friends and then some are. After listening to the samples of Corola Christmas in Bethlehem I just found myself completely mesmerized by Carola's beautiful voice. I was on the phone with my girlfriend while skimming through each track and she stopped me at the Little Drummer Boy. She "forced" me to play it for her over the phone. She loved it! I didn't want to say so but the way Carola sings it gets me emotional. It's so lovely.

I've listened to the other tracks as well and they're all really wonderful. I can't wait to share it on Christmas Eve and day with the family. My girlfriend is doing most of the cooking so I can play Corola's album over and over to keep the peace. ;-).

Carola's voice is just outstanding, and on this album she gives us a somber take on some of the Holiday classics, but more importantly--she has written two fantastic new songs: "Heaven In My Arms" about Mary's first night as a mother, her concern for her son and the mystery that just happened to her, and "Find My Way To Bethlehem"--a blues gospel that sums up Carola as an artist: from the intimate vocals to big, passionate "belching" at the end. Great album! Give it a chance...

Carola has a unique voice. This is an album for the upcoming season. Very good value with all the great tracks. Easy download saves a trip to the mall. A+

A wonderful mix of the old classics with a fresh new twist. Carolas voice takes you to new places with her rendition of O Holy Night. Filled with unique and memorable duets. This is a great value at under three dollars which gets you into the holiday spirit.

I had never heard of Carola before, but bought this on a whim (while buying a ton of Christmas music). I was very impressed. It doesn't sound too modern, which I like. It seems most of the Christmas music out now sound like pop music, just with lyrics that mention the three wise men, which I'm not particularly fond of. I prefer the more classical-sounding music, which Carola pulls off amazingly well, without becoming boring or droll. I wish there was more out there like her.

So many Christmas CDs/songs have the same songs over and over, and sound the same. THIS ALBUM IS EXCEEDINGLY SPECIAL! I too love the Eastern styles of many of the songs, such a special touch for these Christmas songs. I highly recommend it.

She's got a great voice and the Eastern flair is a nice touch. The ending is especially nice and Eastern. I will buy this album and anything this artist records.

This album is one of those that you should listen to while sitting by the fire on Christmas Eve sipping hot chocolate or wassel. It has great classics like Oh Holy Night and Come All Ye Faithful which remind me of sitting in church listening to the choir in Christmas Eve Service. Carola's voice is soft and sweet and I highly recommend this for anyone to listen to while hosting a Christmas Party or enjoying their Christmas dinner.

Great value at just $2.39 for an entire album of 15 songs! Carola's beautiful voice singing familiar Christmas songs is uplifting and brings a sense of both peace and tranquility to the listener. Perfect as a Christmas album to be enjoyed while surrounded by family and friends during the holidays, especially with a roaring fire in the background if you're lucky enough to have one!
